Blacklists can be used to block unwanted numbers, a particularly useful feature for protecting your on-call lines from malicious calls.
Go to section
To access the “Blacklist” interface, click on the PBX icon, on “Application” and then on “Blacklist”.
Add a number to block
Once in the “Blacklist” section, click on “Add a number to block”.
You are now in the next section:
You must now complete the following fields:
- Number: enter the number to be blocked
- Name: name it
- Action: add the action that will be triggered when this number calls
- On: activate or deactivate number blocking
This feature is particularly useful for securing your virtual switchboard against unwanted calls, and for securing your certified prospecting numbers.
Attention
When inserting a number, do not add spaces, do not add a “plus” before the area code and make sure you have added the country code. Here’s an example of a number in the right format: “33694302132”
