Go to add a field<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Creating new fields lets you add and retrieve more information about your prospects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To add a field, click on the CRM icon, on “Settings” and then on “Custom fields”.<\/p>\n\n\n

Then click on “Add field”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Configuring the addition of fields<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Here are the different sections to fill in when adding a field:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Enter field name<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Add field for one or more modules<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Activate “Required” if you want to make this field mandatory for registering the prospect. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Enable “Hidden” option if you don’t want a field to be visible<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Select a field type<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Field types<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Field types allow you to choose how the added field should be filled in :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Single line<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    This is the default field type, allowing you to add a line of text.<\/p>\n\n\n

    Multi-line<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    This type of field lets you add several lines of text: it’s used for descriptions and long messages.<\/p>\n\n\n

    Email<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    This type of field requires the addition of an email address.<\/p>\n\n\n

    Phone<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    This type of field requires the addition of a phone number.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    This field allows you to make a call directly from the customer file and the prospect section table. <\/p>\n\n\n

    Date<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    This field type opens a calendar from which the user can select a date.<\/p>\n\n\n

    Drop-down menu<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    This type of field allows you to program several options for the user to choose from.<\/p>\n\n\n

    Checkboxex<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    This type of field lets you program several checkboxes. Unlike the “Radio” field, the user can select several options.<\/p>\n\n\n

    Radio<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    As with the “Checkboxes” field type, this field allows you to program several checkboxes. However, the user will only be able to select one of the options.<\/p>\n\n\n

    Number<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    The “Number” field type allows you to add numbers only.<\/p>\n\n\n

    Default fields<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Kavkom has created default fields that are mandatory when you create a module.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The default fields are : First name, Last name, Phone number, Company name, Postcode, Address, City, Country, E-mail, Mobile phone number and Description.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    They are required, but you can modify their name and type by clicking on the pencil icon under the “Actions” column. Only the telephone number field cannot be modified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Warning<\/strong>\r\nIf you need to modify the default fields, we advise you not to change the main function of the field, as they have a function and automatic rules associated with CRM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
